And try to modify the driver from that account and let us know if it still says access denied

Re the drivers. Have you tried totally stripping all vid drivers, unplug the internet so it cant offer any and try the Nvidia installer again?

Yeah ^ do that too. Uninstall it from device manager and check the delete this driver box during the process

Yep. Tried FixWin 11.1 several times, but no luck. I guess because most of its fixes depend on DISM and it keeps showing the same error:

I run DISM from inside Windows. Would it be any different running it from an installation usb drive?

Just tried it and from the install usb, following the instructions from the @FreeBooter video (
)
and both SFC and DISM work ok:

BUT once I go back to Windows everything is exactly the same: SFC and DISM do not work:

and Windows Update shows errors and can't download or install anything:

Yep. tried DDU both from normal Windows and Safe Mode. Cleaning everything. Several times. And still same crap. I don't think the problem is in the drivers or the Device Manager, but in something in the Windows Registry.

Hey. I cant run sfc and dism cause i taking the error "Class is not registered , error 0x80040154" , "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service.". Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service. Any suggestion except reinstall (repair or clean) ? Thanks.

I guess because I was running the windows install from a usb pendrive that doesn't have a lot of free space.
Anyway, I rerun it immediately after, adding the /scratchdir option, so it didn't show any warning this time, and the result was the same "100%" "The operation completed successfully":

It's a Kingston 250GB NVMe and I don't think that is the problem. As I said, I already tried doing a clean Windows 11 installation and everything works ok... but if I do that I face a week of pain reinstalling a crap ton of programs, apps, tools, licenses, settings, etc. that just thinking about it gives me a headache... 🥵

I'm kinda curious if there is actually some hardware issue going on. Since you have reloaded from scratch fairly recently something caused the system to become borked very bad. This is much deeper than a video driver installation issue. Some RAM incompatibility issue? How about a failing OS drive? Some interoperability on the motherboard itself? CPU, memory controller, drive interface, etc?

I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.
I am not very well versed with drives. I do understand though from reading, that bad sectors can also happen on SSD/NVMe drives. I would assume, a reinstall would of moved files around as it is a fresh install. Wondering if there are specific sections of the NVMe that files that are needed to operate properly, may be compromised.

again, you have tried pretty much everything so far so just being random here.
