I'm just curious as to what causes a Volume and Image Reset in Reflect.

I can't recall anything significant happening on the 2 dates shown on the attached screenshot...everything is working fine, just wondered if someone could explain it in simple terms, please.

Well, that's pretty much all I have...it only appears on the summation page after I've done a differential backup...

You may get a faster, better response on the Macrium forums.
They are pretty good with strange Macrium problems. :-)

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
Hi Ghot

I had looked at the Macrium Forum earlier and the nearest I found was this CBT: MFT Volume reset versus image reset but didn't seem to explain anything, at least to me.

(I haven't needed to do a restore - I always do a full backup on Sundays, then differentials Monday through Saturday).

Macrium updated to the latest version on September 4th, so doesn't seem related to either of the dates reported.

And other than daily Windows Update checks, of which there haven't been any significant ones recently, I can't think of anything else that's changed.

I get those, never really think anything of them. The backups always work/verify. It *might* have something to do with the Disk defrag/trim that Windows runs. I've sometimes had a large Incremental image after the Defrag has run. Check your defrag schedule

Hi Brian

I was made aware of the 'defrag effect' on differentials and incrementals here, some time ago, so it's set to 'off'.

I usually do one manually on the first Sunday of each month, before I do a backup, but thanks for your reply.
