copilot has issues, like about the recent key bridge collapse, look what it says

CoPilot tells me he does not have direct internet access. His knowledge is only as current as his lat update.

ChatGPT also has no direct access. Google Bard, now called Gemini has some access see what she had to say.

why did the Baltimore Key bridge collapse?

The collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore wasn't due to structural failure, but rather a direct impact. A large cargo ship, the Dali, lost power and collided with a support column of the bridge early on the morning of March 26th, 2024. This caused the center span to crumble and fall into the Patapsco River. There were unfortunately fatalities as well, with six construction workers who were on the bridge at the time presumed dead.

I bet if I ask Alexa on the Echo Show 8, she will know all about it.

A supposed AI bot which is not very useful as a simple google search.
Honestly so far it has not been worth much and gets in the way.

If you want to find evidence of a scientific nature to support an argument with trolls, it can be very useful and will give citations.
I use CoPilot and ChatGPT but they can be ridiculously reticent on controversial topics.

I am typing in messages and cutting and pasting text and it is always popping up itself




Rewrite with copilot, uh, what is that going to help.

And it's been doing this to me in other places too. Sometimes I am not careful and click it then it takes over the screen on the right which I constantly find myself closing that copilot scrolling window.

I have all those features turned OFF. Can't stand it when it jumps at my face in every corner and tries to be helpful, when in fact it's just standing in the way.

ESCape makes the "Rewrite with Copilot (Alt + I)" disappear.

Edge, ..., Settings, Language, Writing assistance, Use Compose (AI-writing) on the web (toggle off)
