This is my first post to 11 Forums. I've been a member of 10 & 8 Forums before that.
Usually when a new version of Windows comes out, I wait until comfy & then upgrade. But Windows 11 is a different story.
I have a Dell Optiplex 9020 that I'm quite happy with. It's a refurb that's held up well for 3.5 years under Windows 10 Pro x64 w/ 16 GB RAM. It never occurred to me that Windows 11 wouldn't directly support it. I'm not ready to spring for a newer PC, especially w/ component shortages. It's a 4th generation i7 quad core & does NOT have TPM 2.0 & nor is TPM 1.2 even enabled right now.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has got the 9020 working on Windows 11 & what you had to do to get there. Found at least one here who has. I've resigned myself to the notion that I'll be on Windows 10 awhile longer. Don't have to make a decision now, but would like to know what hurdles face me.
