A desktop icon for "duet display" showed up on my system. I did not download nor install this app. Not sure how it came to be on this PC. I have WU paused until 6/14/2023 and it is not in the update history listings. Any ideas on how it came to be installed before I uninstall it?
Update: Found a forum that links this to HP systems and Apple iTunes updates. I don't have iTunes installed, but HP has installed Apple support at the same time as this app. I will uninstall all Apple apps and this duet app. also. Maybe this will help other HP system users here.
I ran a full system scan with the installed Norton360, restarted, and nothing was found, so it looks like this wasn't malware, just unwanted ware.
