How many people here use Google Chrome on Windows and feel secure?

Hi,
I was just wondering how many people in here are still using the google chrome browser on windows operating system, and if so do you feel at least partially secure while using it ?

I've never installed Chrome as I never particularly cared for it. FF is my main browser with occasional use of Edge if I want to snap 2 browser windows side by side or to access several of my financial sites that don't work with FF.

FF for me for almost everything. Chrome when something doesn't work right in FF which is rare.

I had Chrome for a brief period of time and found it too invasive. It always wanted me to sign in or had too many adds to buy something. I mainly use Edge and Firefox.

I've pretty much only used Chrome for years now on my devices. I've got no concerns.

I use chrome browser on windows - no issues

Firefox with occasional use of Microsoft Edge for the odd site that FF doesn't render well.

I don't use Chrome . . . Firefox is my go to browser. As others have said, Chrome is just too invasive.

I used Chrome for many years.
Two years ago I switched to Chromium based Edge.
I also use Microsoft Edge on my Android phone.
IMO, Microsoft has gotten it right with Edge.

Security? Yes
Privacy? No

Chrome saved passwords are easily hacked. I disabled that feature and use Authenticator solely.

I have been using Google Chrome Browser for around 13 years, no worries.

I use Chrome, Firefox and both are secure IMO

Sounds good, @TraderGary, but I'm still reluctant to use Edge. I used to bounce back and forth between Internet Explorer and Firefox when one or the other misbehaved.

Firefox has matured to the point that it seldom misbehaves these days, so I'm gonna keep it.

You want chrome without google then you use brave or chromium

Using Chrome as my main browser. Firefox as a backup and Edge.....eeerrr comes with Windows.

I despise Google and don’t trust it in the slightest, let alone use their browser. I would never by an Android TV or any type of Android device. Google is pure evil and totally invasive in my opinion.

I use Firefox Portable under the supervision of Sandboxie-Plus. Although running them sandboxed helps to make browsers more secure, there is another reason why I use this particular kind of approach: it's the convenience factor. Being able to instantly empty a sandbox with just a single mouseclick so as to revert the whole browser setup back to a previous state is like walking on rose petals. I mean, what if something else goes wrong with your installation of regular Firefox besides possible falling victim to some unexpected security hole in it?

Further, when you choose to install regular Firefox on Windows, you are limited to having just a single browser instance to work with so as a result you have to switch between multiple different Firefox profiles and/or depend on the Multi-Account Containers addon. Clearly, this isn't always a practical solution... there are a few too many dependencies to have to keep dealing with if choosing to go this route IMO, and IME.

Finally, the combination of having multiple different folder copies of Firefox Portable with the AllowMultipleInstances=true property and Sandboxie-Plus with multiple different sandboxes lets me achieve maximum flexibility. That is, in terms of security, privacy, AND being able to run multiple different configurations/setups concurrently alongside each other. On Windows it also is possible to set a portable browser as the default browser, and, Sandboxie-Plus also has a Force Folder setting to be able to force any program that exists in a folder or list of folders to always run sandboxed.

As an aside, for performance reasons in Sandboxie-Plus settings I have pointed some of the sandbox locations to a ramdisk. Specifically, Romex Primo Ramdisk with SCSI and Direct Memory Management (DMM) in Compact mode. Sandboxie-Plus users who choose to make a small donation can now get a certificate that will enable ImDisk integration, but ImDisk is still nowhere nearly as good as the Primo from Romex. Primo adds wings to internet security IMNSHO.
