Since a recent Chrome update within the last 24 hours, the Chrome theme color has changed to a faded gray color.

Firefox and Edge follow my Windows color scheme, but Chrome ignores that. At least it does now.

This video describing how to change it, no longer works since the update.


Chrome is not my main browser, but I use it from time to time.
Any ideas on how to change its color to something more palatable?

So, basically, you can no longer simply choose a color without installing a theme.
And the fact that Chrome now completely ignores Windows color scheme is very suspect.

Don't know much about Chrome @Stigg It just never took off with me. I'm a FF gal running in light mode most of the time. I get bored occasionally and jump over to Edge where I used the Chrome Store for its theme which is dark. A lot of them are just too busy for me and my tastes.
If you like a dark theme those in the "space" category are really clean and sleek looking without being boring.
