Most recent way of adding the old but useful "New text file" option to Win 11's context menu?

Hi. Now don't get me wrong. I've already found many tutorials on this.

The problem is that they are different (they don't modify the same stuff in the registry), and I have yet to find one that's guaranteed to work on the latest Win 11 version.

Could somebody help me with this? Thank you. :)

Hi. Now don't get me wrong. I've already found many tutorials on this.

Here... this will give you the "classic" context menu. Like Windows 10.

The bottom two items on the left were added by me.
There's a tutorial for that too. :-)

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
Thanks guys :) BTW I already have a classic context menu via StartAllBack.

My current setup is:
  • Open-Shell (for classic Start Menu - my favorite app for that purpose)
  • StartAllBack (for classic Explorer windows + Taskbar options)
  • TranslucentTB (for Taskbar transparency and behaviour)
  • System Transparency (for Explorer window transparency)
For the record I'm just missing Start Menu transparency via Open-Shell (it used to exist but it has been lost due to Win 11 updates). There's a topic about it here.

If one chooses to use third party apps that alter the GUI, especially MULTIPLE third party apps butting heads with each other and the OS, it's his choice, his right. But my opinion differs from most people here. Before I'm called out on that, please note I said it's my opinion and what I feel makes sense from all I've seen on this forum for the last 2 years. For consistancy, dependability, and lack of interference, trying to bend the OS out of its native state using anything other than the tutorials on this forum is ill-advised. Those I can vouch for.
