Might take a bit here I was having a issue before where I could not switch between my two Microsoft accounts so I reformatted this new problem is happening after reformatting.
The only System restore I guess I had so far was the fresh install one so it's making set everything back up I'll get the screenshot shortly I hope lol

In light of the version display, don't be concerned if seeing Win10 mentioned in some places in Win11, seems to do no harm.

Also, could the install of Win11 be an Upgrade from Win7 that was originally on the computer?

In that case, I would now also like to see the WinVer response that WiseWiz asked for.

Yeah, it is a problem as Win10/Win11 can't run some of the old programs that Win7 and earlier could.

Great! Undid the system restore now it's all sorts of messed up signed in with some weird email a combination of my email and part of my password like it was before I reformatted and ended up with this new issue.
Going to try and load the system restore I created before I did the 1st one

Do you have a system image you could restore instead? System images are much more reliable than System restore points.

So your options would seem to be
1 Run SFC and hope that fixes things. SFC - ElevenForumTutorials
2 Run a Repair install & hope that fixes things. Repair Install Windows 11 with an In-place Upgrade - ElevenForumTutorials
3 Investigate this rather strange fault and hope to find a solution.
4.1 Reinstall Windows using Reset Windows 11 PC - ElevenForumTutorials
4.2 Reinstall Windows using Clean Install Windows 11 - ElevenForumTutorials [assuming you were previously activated with either Windows 10 or Windows 11 and in preparation for a Clean install you should Backup and Restore Device Drivers - ElevenForumTutorials]

All the best,
Denis
