It annoys me when using the calendar :-( ...
Unfortunately not. The NEW Outlook is constantly trying to install ... again and again ...
So simply uninstall it, not difficult just right-click and select 'uninstall'. Simples.
I've uninstalled it several times, but every time I start the calendar NEW Outlook tries to install again and again
What do you mean 'start the calendar'? When I click on the (really basic) calendar from the notification area in the taskbar, nothing happens. Or do you mean Mail and Calendar? If so, it's because that's being deprecated and replaced by New Outlook. I use Outlook from Office 365 so the first thing I do is uninstall Mail and Calendar and then New Outlook.

So let me get this right, you want to get rid of the 'New' Outlook in order to use the 'Mail & Calendar' that will soon be removed.

You'll have to switch sooner or later, may as well get used to something else now!

You can, Just tell windows to stfu, Had a quid for everytime i installed an "untrusted" app that in reality...is super trusted well....i'd have more than i do now!I can't even install Mail & Calendar on Canary anymore..., it's classified an Untrusted App!
There's far superior stuff out there!
