There is no reason to mess with the page file setting. Leave it as system managed and you'll be just fine.

Hi, you can reboot until hell freezes over, it will not change a thing.
You are not totally using the allocated pagefile on C:, so how would you expect to use D:?
If you want to use D:, get rid of the one on C:.
BTW, with 16GB of RAM, the pagefile is redundant and unused unless you have multiple apps/VMs/programs running in the background.
You could even go for no pagefile and not notice it.
Of course, It still is needed for debugging dump files in case of BSOD.

"A Page File acts as an overflow for your system memory (RAM) when you have too many applications running at one time. However, it is constantly being used by Windows to store temporary data regardless of how much RAM you have installed. "
"However, even if you have enough free RAM, Windows will still move data into the Page File if it believes it is not required at that moment, freeing up RAM for active applications. RAM is a more valuable resource because it is much faster than a Page File."

i have 16gb of ram but even thats not enough for me, the i have no programs running in the background, but even that, chrome just crashes randomly on random times (I use about 3 apps at the same time) and luckily for me i changed the virtual ram and it actually worked, but now you cant change it anymore, (i changed it to system managed) and that didnt work out either, I dont know whats happening but welp

Therein lies the issue, why is your C: partition almost full? That's lots to cause a number of problems for you if it hasn't already.

Why is your commit charge so high? Chrome is probably crashing due to the lack of memory and I should imagine that you have a memory leak somewhere or you're running some very memory-intensive applications. What applications do you have open?

Set to No paging file > Set > OK > Restart.
Do that for both the C: and D: drive.

That should reset the paging files.

You may as well just tick the box for "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives."

If you have an application where you need to change that, it will tell you what is required.
