With today's update for the EDGE browser all my passwords have disappeared and can not be duplicated or created. They cannot be imported also. Nothing appears in Credentials either.

You should look for another solution to manage your passwords. A dedicated password manager might be best. Microsoft is no respecter of personal settings in Edge. They usually push the settings to what would be Microsoft's best advantage for advertising. The passwords might also have been accidental collateral damage from the update. Since I don't store my passwords in Edge I regret that I'm unable advise you on how to recover your PWs.

Which version/ build of Edge?
I am using Edge version 111.0.1661.54 as of today, Windows (Pro) version 22621.1413, so far no update for Edge or Windows has removed the passwords from Edge.
If you have Sync enabled I suggest you disable it and check any other devices to see if the passwords, if any, on other devices remain.
