Remove Social Apps

Hello everyone,

I'm doing captures of Windows 10 and 11 versions as I need to deploy them in my company, throughout the process, I noticed that the Social Apps such as Messenger, Spotify... were impossible to remove and got re-downloaded after major Updates (22h2). I then searched online how I could remove them definitively. I found a Script creating registry Keys or changing values of them (Unwanted Apps in Start, Need help with script - Windows 10 Help Forums).

Unfortunately, it went too well as now I can't reinstall those apps from the store (error code: 0x80073cf3). I actually don't want them to reinstall once removed but I want the user to be able to download them if wanted.

How can I change that in the registry so they can't be automatically installed but still installed if needed?

Line 11 of the script as shown in the code box has an error, you have a space in the middle of the word Content.
Other than that you would be better off using DISM to un-provision the unrequired apps rather than disabling the content delivery manager.
You could capture the default reg values that the script changes, from an unmodified Windows install, and create a script from them to reverse your changes as required to enable re installing the apps.

Thanks for your help, and noticing the miswritting.
I know how to do this, but I'm looking for a solution that a normal user (not in IT for exemple) could manage, so I need to stop auto download (lines 1 and 2 of my script) but in all the other keys, I would like to change the values so apps could be installed manually if needed by the user later on.
If you have any thoughts on it, thanks for it.
