Solved Search Bar Taskbar Win 10

I was unable to log into Win 10 Forums.

This little search bar suddenly appeared on my laptop, but not on my Win 11 Desktop. Pal across the street also had it arrive on his Win 11 machine.
Question it, how do we remove it. I will help my pal.

Right click Taskbar/Search/Hidden

Grossly annoying feature, mainly because no matter what the user has set as the default browser and/or search engine, Microsoft will throw a B*** search result in MS Edge back in the user's face !!.

Just as easy to kill (hide) that extra bloat on the Taskbar ... I'm not that lazy as to not be able to do one extra click to open a web browser for a search (Well it's not even an extra click - the user still has to click in that Taskbar search field to use it.)

An ever increasing presence of monopolization on MS's part!
It's their operating system, they can do as they please, I guess!
