Solved Switch user option vanished

Hello
Windows has been working fine. But, today it's decided to make the other profiles vanish from the logon screen. I log in as admin and the profiles are still listed in control panel. But I can't switch to them.
Watched a few things on youtube, and they say search for 'group policy editor'. But, nothing appears. Any help or ideas?

Are you running Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro?

Open up System Information and see what it says:



This is mine, for example:

Windows 11 home in S mode.

I have not actually played around with S mode. However, I do know that trying to run gpedit.msc or else searching for Group Policy doesn't work the normal ways.

Has it always been Windows 11 in S mode?

I don't see any real restrictions on using multiple users in Windows 11 S Mode.

However, in Settings --> Sign-in Options, do you have this setting enabled or disabled?

Always been in S mode.

Have that box checked.

Previously the sign in screen, and where you switch user once logged in, showed the other user accounts. Today, they've simply vanished. I can see them in listed in the settings area as profiles still linked to my one though.

My apologies, earlier I was trying to find that tutorial but my search parameter was not correct lol. This time I used a better search term and it found it right away.
