Windows 11
Hello, I had a problem with explorer.exe in the past weeks. I posted my problem on the forum and they helped me and my problem was solved, but now I have a different problem and it's really starting to annoy me. I downloaded and installed the appropriate versions of the computer from the HP site so that all drivers are up to date with the latest version, but I can't get the desired performance from the computer, Windows Explorer is constantly delayed and late opening, the task manager works strangely slow in the same way, and suddenly the system becomes heavy in a strange way. I verified the system files with the SFC method, but still not solved. This problem also affects the performance in games and I can't get the performance I want because of this problem.

And recently, the Desktop Window Manager and a service called WMI Provider Host are constantly running unnecessarily in the background and increasing CPU usage (I listed the applications that use the most CPU in the Task Manager).

I didn't have this problem before formatting. For some reason it started happening after formatting. I hope you can help me, thanks in advance.

You have several non-essential programs running in background, to make sure it's not one of them causing issues you can try boot into safe mode only to see if the problem persists there:

Let us know if things work normally in safe boot?

Windows 11 is very stable.
This is completely normal, here is my screenshot with MS Edge:
I'm also running some programs that consume close to 10GB of memory but this has nothing to do with Windows.

I guess you don't have many applications installed on your computer. But if it is installed, I wondered if you did something extra to provide really good value 0% CPU and Memory, what did you do to provide this?

I agree. Windows 11 is very stable. As to what I did to get it to perform as it should , basically nothing.
Except for the one time I stress tested the hardware, not once has my machine hyper-threaded. Although I have a lot of software on this machine, there's not much running at startup.
I uninstalled all the OEM apps except for Dell Command update which I use to keep my drivers & bios current. It runs only when I want to use it manually to update my drivers.
I use portable software wherever possible.
I run Malwarebytes Premium alongside Defender as my AV. I wouldn't consider running some of those AV that use so much computer resources.

But IMO here's the main reason why I think my system runs so smooth using almost no resources. I let Windows do its thing as it was designed to do.I don't disable a lot of processes to lean down windows. I don't try to make it look like an older OS. I don't change the GUI using any 3rd party apps. (I will admit I made the regedit change to bring back the old right click context menu) Other than that I pretty much run virgin Windows.

As I write this here's mine with 3 apps, 109 background processes, and 119 windows processes running on my system. It's consuming 9.7 gb ram. That's the reason I installed 32 gb from the get-go.

All your game game clients, Steam, Ubisoft Connect, EA, Gog, Epic, etc need configuring and exiting when you finished using them.

Skype needs configuring to minimise background process.

Omen gaming hub is bloatware, just remove.

There are several system modding applications/tools for desktop, wallpaper, taskbar etc just remove them, not good for stability or resource usage.

Intel Graphics command centre needs configuring it does not need the startup task.

You did a so-called clean install on a new larger SSD but ended up with a very bloated system.

I have similar hardware and Win 11 on mine but at idle 0 to 1% CPU and 4 GB of RAM usage, no so-called clean install has been done. Similarly with another older one on Windows 10. Both are stable.

Yours with 27% CPU and 18 GB? RAM usage clearly needs a lot of work to run lean.

"but now I have a different problem and it's really starting to annoy me"
You have many problems with what you have installed and not configured to run lean, and a lot of stuff that is just bloat, maybe 40+ items, difficult to tell, you will know more about that.

Thank you for your reply. If I uninstall the Hp Omen Hub, I have a Mux Switch on my computer, how do I set it up. I can quickly connect and remove the internal and external video card quickly from this application, but do you know how to do it after uninstalling the application while playing games?
