Windows 11 suddenly unable to drag and resize.

Hi usually when it comes to resizing any item on the OS, i should be able to grab the corner and pull in and out to resize.
However, after new upgrade from 11 Home to Pro, something must have happened. Now I'm unable to get that diagonal arrow to pull and resize.
It would just 'skip' in and out of the corner. Is there a way to fix this?

I have no problems resizing windows. I find it's a lot easier to use if I turn on Click Lock in Additional mouse settings.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro (and all my Hyper-V VMs).

    My SYSTEM FOUR is a 2-in-1 convertible Lenovo Yoga 11e 20DA, Celeron N2930, 8GB RAM, 256GB ssd. Unsupported device: currently running Win10 Pro, plus Win11 Pro RTM and Insider Beta as native boot vhdx.

Hi, im sorry. This is what I meant to say. Usually if I want to resize anything, I just have to hover my cursor over some of the edges of the object -- for example a browser window, or an object in powerpoint -- and that double-sided arrow will appear. However, right now I'm unable to see that, and it makes it difficult for me to resize any object.
