windows defender don't work PLEASE HELP

I can't update windows, windows defender don't work. A few days ago I installed something that asked me to put this command in CMD: "powershell -inputformat none -outputformat none -NonInteractive -Command Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath C:\" and from there I have problems. PLEASE HELP
How can I fix it

Have you tried- "Restore" to an earlier point?

That "something" told you to stop Defender checking anything on your C:\ drive so you can assume it has planted malware everywhere.
It made you do that in an Admin PS window.

Start your recovery by removing that exclusion
Add or Remove Exclusions for Microsoft Defender - ElevenForumTutorials

Personally, I think you need to restore your computer using your last system image or re-install Windows.
And then scan the computer & everything you've had connected to your computer since you obeyed that "something" - USB sticks, external drives, phones, anything with any kind of storage.

That "something" told you to stop Defender checking anything on your C:\ drive so you can assume it has planted malware everywhere.

If you guys are still having the same issue i found the solution roll into the windows insider program and than update your pc this will fix it

That won't get rid of malware/virus infection

I'd think that after 6 months the problem has been fixed or a new computer bought.
