windows text editor problem

guys could y help me i open txt file then change it save and press quirt but always when i open any txt file it showing me history i also edit this in settings but is still same thx for help

If it's Notepad that comes with Windows, it does reopen to the last file used so I close each tab using the X on the tab, not the close X of the program. Then the last tab closure also closes the program, when reopened it's to a blank page.

open a Notepad file, go to Settings (scroll wheel on the right), When starting Notepad>Open a new window
