Hello Lelibran,

Thanks for reply....Techbench is fantastic and Win 11 22H2 English 64Bit ISO downloaded ok.
I did Rufus ISO method it by searching for 22H2 ISO and download it from a website but when mounting was completed and ran setup
a message popped when after checking pc...'Apps and settings cannot be saved as you are installing Windows in a different language to the one you have'. this option is greyed out all i there is 'Keep personal files only' and 'delete everything'.

I have checked everthing and everything and everthing applicable is in English ( United Kingdom ).

I think since i used Github Bypass Win 11 for unsupported hardware and had Windows 11 Pro installed and now coming across with issues
and not aware installed English ( US ) version as on Techbench there is English ISO and English-International ISO.

Used this command ... Dism /online/get-intl

to see what language i have installed and have attached image for results

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

Thanks Bree for reply,

I have now come to conclusion that the Github Bypass Win11 21H1 for unsupported hardware is the issue as it is not an official
version hence i cannot upgrade to 22H2.
I have a Dell Inspiron 3860 ( bought in 2019 ) which came with Windows 10 free upgrade to Windows 11 Home
and was upgraded to 22H2...because it has TPM and SecureBoot which is requirement for Windows 11 and 22H2 64Bit English
International ISO downloaded ok as a test.

So, i am just chasing solutions that don't exist or will not work for my Asus pc...will keep using Asus pc for now or sell it a local Pc tech
repair company ..if they are interested or take it to recycle centre...and buy another Dell pc with Windows 11 as a back up and use my
existing Dell as my main pc and install my 3rd party software programs that i use on Asus pc onto Dell pc....wow....decisions...decisions.
I only bought Asus Pc in 2016 ie 6 years old and it is still working fine.

Thanks for reply and now will close this thread.

Bye Have a nice weekend.

What iso did you use, US-EN or International -EN?
Did you go to Win11_22H2\Sources and rename appraiserres.dll to appraiserres.dll.orig and on Win11_22H2\Sources, create a blank text file and rename to appraiserres.dll?

If possible, share the Win11 22H2_EnglishInternational_x64 download link once more.

Hi Megahertz,

I followed exactly the steps you mentioned and used the English International 64 Bit...and noticed carefully that the base language is
US-Eng and even though i altered settings to English ( United Kingdom ) ie keyboard, time, region etc.
Searching the internet i came across a method to install 22H2 by downloading US-Eng 64 Bit ISO and resetting settings to US-Eng
on pc and change appraiserres.dll and run setup to see what happens....if and it is a big 'if ' 22H2 installs then i go back to reset settings to English ( United Kingdom )..keyboard,time,region etc and remove the US-English language even though my GitHub unsupported hardware version installed the US-Eng version.

But will not attempt this until i put my 3rd party programs from my Asus pc to Dell.

Then i can do various steps..in other words... Asus pc will become a test pc.

Bye

What you're saying is that your installed version is US-EN and not English International.
As you need to do an in place upgrade install with same version, English International gives you an error and US-EN works.
On post #6 I said you should try US-EN and gave you the link for it.
