context menu customization

Hello together.

Iam currently looking for a program to editing the context menu. There are a few of them and i've tried a few, but none of them has been able to edit all the entries so far, and most of them are no longer being developed. maybe one of you has a secret tip. Among other things, I tried ´´context menu editor ´´ and ´´easy context menu´´

Have you tried Shell?
You can change new Win11 context menu items

If you want to change the background of old context menus (like more options or in other apps), you can use TranslucentFlyouts

Thank you for the ideas.

Shell looks very complicated, I was hoping for a program with a user interface without writing any code myself cause lack of experience.

Yeah, I know
I already searched for this because I wanted to customize it and I only found two apps for changing Win11 new context menu
One of them was Shell and the other one was Custom Context Menu
Both requires some knowledge which i don't have

I dont use new context menu so if u know a programm for old context menu would be fine too for me ;D

Have you tried Winaero Tweaker?

Once running, type “Context” into the search bar at the top, there are endless effortless tweaks. Maybe not endless, but there are ample.

Ultimate Windows Tweaker also has a ton of options under Context Menu.

These Programs can only add a entry tothe context menu. Important features like delete a entry and changing order doesnt exist.

You seem to be adverse to trying any suggestions that may help with your issue, and maybe didn't even look. I just had a quick look at "Ultimate Windows Tweaker" and this is the first thing I found.

Plus there is more in Ultimate Windows Tweaker, also in Winaero

Hello all, I'm joining the post because I'm looking a way to modify items list in New (when you click right on Desktop or under File manager) and it seems not easy!
By looking on the web I found this utility shellNewSettings : cresstone.com - Apps - this is an old tool (2016) but with it you can activate / deactivate what is in the list, not delete or create a new one.
An example of use, here all items :

Result in explorer "New" Selection : (Sorry is in French !)

Then deselect All items :

Seems a bug but many of them disappear on the items list :

I want, for example, to add on the New item list Microsoft Word, Excel and so on,
if someone has an idea how to play with they are welcome!

For those who are interested, I found a utility that allows you to change the Windows 11 context menu in Windows 10 and conversely : Classic-context-Menu

I believe, everything I see on that page there is a tutorial/reg file for in here.

e.x. Word (64bit):

    Open the registry editor. You can do this by pressing the Win + R key combination to open the Run dialog, then type "regedit" and press Enter to open the registry editor.

    Navigate to the following path: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell

    Right-click on the "shell" key, select "New" > "Key".

    Name the new key, which will be the name of the new option you're adding. "Word"

    Right-click on the new key (Word) and select "New" > "Key".

    Name the new subkey "command".

    Right-click on the "command" key, select "Modify".

    In the "Value data" field, enter the full path of the command you want to run. "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\WINWORD.EXE".

    Click "OK" to save the changes.

    Close the registry editor.

Or is what you want more complicated, like a full list of commands for word?
