Windows 11
hi there,

Have a few fixes i'd like to apply on this win11.... i really come to think i prefer 10's UX hehe anyhow:

1. Showing all icons on the taskbar

i've tried the few fixes floating around for showing all icons on the taskbar, i find it immoral that you need to "enable" one by one when you want to see them and i don't like the little arrow with the bubble box with the "new" stuff.

So i tried:

explorer shell:::{05d7b0f4-2121-4eff-bf6b-ed3f69b894d9} -> doesn't stick
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer]

Then set EnableAutoTray to 1

Both not working.

Anything else? or feedback hub? LOL

2. Bigger Clock Font Size

Can you increase this without installing anything custom or increasing the whole theme to 125% which looks a bit ugly?

3. Taskbar Size and Icons

Is there a way to reduce the size of the taskbar itself and the gigantic icons? Yes i do want them like Win10's if possible.

For now these would be nice.

thanks,
Gabrio

If anyone wants to upvote, i've just created these in feedback hub:

1. Showing all icons on the taskbar 2. Bigger Clock Font Size 3. Taskbar Size and Icons The Windows Insider Program (there are other 6341 upvotes on same request, how interesting....)

Hope they will release these soon, basically look like Win10 all around ahah - not sure about this win11 in general, i mean, the 10 looks more professional in certain ways, this seems more artsy (not really needed), i just bought it for a new PC and wanted to test it but perfectly happy with Win10.

But those are the type of features/options/tweaks that should have been kept.
An upgrade should always keep its features and improve them.
Removing them was flat out wrong.
@gabgab , I up-voted those.

Cheers, I tend to agree, i really like Win10 as Operating system, in my opinion 10 is the best one Microsoft has ever done. i am giving 11 a few more days then rolling back to Win10.

Thanks but 11 is out! I put back Win10, couldn't stand it anymore :-)

Must say there's more settings to tweak, out of the box Win11 has several things working straight out, but the customisations possible on Win10 are amazing. Now let's see how long i can keep it.
