File Explorer - Folders in Home are not visible

In the navigation pane with Home selected the folders for Quick access, Favorites, & Recent are not visible as they should be. See below.

Instead, everything is lumped into one list as shown below.

The problem was intermittent and would fix itself but now the situation appears to be permanent.
I have tried using the GUI to resolve the problem to no avail.
I believe it may require changes to the registry.

Those folders, and most all those above This PC are merely shortcuts to the actual default folders in C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE. Right-click one, click Properties and actual location will be shown.

Tip: using all caps is akin to shouting on most forums.

Hint: I always put click/command sequences in bold to make them stand out from other comments (as Brink does in Tutorials).

Question: Aren't your two signature lines in bold?
Note that I said all caps. Most times caps are used to emphasize portions of text in a sentence or a title [according to my English instructor].
