Are you sure that you use the correct path to chrome.exe and then a space dash dash disable-features=CustomizeChromeSidePanel

I can confirm that it works with a new shortcut, and after making sure all copies of Chrome are not running before using the shortcut:

Ah.... yeah, it's working now. Only issue is it no longer opens from my original taskbar icon. That opens a whole new one with the new ugly icons still.

You need to right click the taskbar icon , then right click the name Google Chrome, then choose Properties, then choose Shortcut, and then edit the path to make it the same as the new shortcut. Or, easier, right click the Chrome icon on the taskbar and unpin it, then right click the new shortcut that works, and pin it to the taskbar.

the Flags do not work anymore with latest update anyone has a solution to get the folders back to yellow and the spaces in between back to normal? after restart it works
