Can anyone recommend a good search engine that recognises operators like +, AND, -, NEAR etc?

Google and others always try and second guess me!

This is a really good question...if someone knows, I wanna know too.

I want to filter out keywords with the - operator so no results with the word are shown.

That was written in 2018. It is operators like + that I miss. I don't think - works properly.
The '-' operator does not work in Google.

That's because I was searching with DuckDuckGo. Silly me. Google does seem to respect '-' but it did stop supporting '+'.
