After a recent update for Edge 117.0.2045.43 my laptop display began glitching from the standard 1366 x 768 screen resolution to what looks like safe mode (640). At times it switches back and forth. Really weird. Using Geek Uninstaller 1.5.2.165 or Control Panel>Uninstall or change programs; l cannot find Edge listed so to repair or install it. It's like Edge is not installed properly. Never had such a thing happen. So I put Chrome on and now using it until I can find put how to restore Edge back.

Using a Dell Inspiron 15 3000-3510 Windows 11, all up to date, and I would like to roll Edge back and then try to update it again or something. Help!

Well, I'm on my old slow Win 10 Dell and am now restoring my new Dell Win-11 so hopefully it will get it back to yesterday working order. Never had such a weird problem and I did run Norton's and other malware programs, in safe mode, so at least no hacker is lurking. Just hope the old free Macrium Reflect will restore back to yesterday when I made a backup.

Running Chrome it works fine, but I do not like Chrome, so hopefully after a restore I can get Edge back working again. Don't mind using old slow Dell, but the newer Win-11 has spoiled me!

Well, after restoring my Dell HD I think my Win-10 laptop is back working okay except something is still wrong with Edge. I attempted to update Edge and it has an error, so will work on that. Will try to uninstall Edge and install it back to see if that works.

I think after running the Edge update from Help and Feedback, it says it is up to date and appears to work okay now, maybe. Sometimes just playing around corrects this kind of weird problem. Now at least my Dell Win-11 is working okay. Wow such a deal.
