Lenovo v330 elan touchpad not working in windows 11

Hey folks,

I've got a lenovo v330-15ikb then I just recently clean installed to Windows 11. Everything seems to be working so far except for elan touchpad, all the gestures and tap settings are missing despite installing the latest driver from the website. It's my understanding that Windows 11 now uses precision touchpad drivers, but I'm having difficulty getting this to work. Tried multiple websites and YouTube links, let's see the results and nothing working or the touchpad stops working completely and I need to roll back the driver. Any suggestions? I'm hoping I don't have to go back to Windows 10 but will do that if necessary. Thanks.

May be obvious, check it's not turned off in settings

If it's ok I would look in Control Panel settings or drivers

The newer Elan/Synaptics driver seems to break the touchpad settings so that you cannot turn the touchpad on/off or use various scroll options.
Is there a new Touchpad entry under Settings>Devices? Are there any of those settings there?

Try installing the Microsoft precision touchpad driver:
How to install Precision Touchpad Drivers on Windows 10 This will add extra touchpad options under Settings>Devices>Touchpad.

It looks like the option has been removed in later version, no longer in Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad.
Roll back the driver to a previous version that worked or download an older version, most sites have older versions
