Microsoft Calendar app not working

When I start the Calendar app from Start /All Apps/Calendar (or anywhere else) all I get is a splash screen for a few seconds then it shuts down. I'm on 22H2 2263.1325. It's not on long enough to get a screenshot. There's just a plain blue window with the calendar icon. Any suggestions please?

Did you turn on the new Outlook style app? i have had some problems with Mail app too. Had to get back to old Mail and Calendar app

Did you turn on the new Outlook style app? i have had some problems with Mail app too. Had to get back to old Mail and Calendar app
No idea. I just clicked on the link as usual and no calendar. I'll have a look and see if I can find out.

The version number for Mail and Calendar is 16005.14326.21344.0 . The mail part seems to be working fine sends and receives with no problem.

Calendar also broken for me on the Dev channel. Works fine on the Outlook preview app.

It's suddenly started to work again just as I was recording the problem for the feedback hub so didn't need to send. I didn't do anything except shut down for the night and start up again. I could find no error message.

It was crashing on Saturday then started working again Saturday night. it is crashing again now on Sunday morning and night.

The same thing started happening for me on Saturday.

Happening here, I reported it in Feedback hub. 22621.1343 with the Calendar app updated on Saturday (version 16005.14326.21344.0)

Check the event log for errors, it shows as an Application hang critical event.

@Taoufik996 I ran the reset option for Mail and Calendar under the advanced options then set up mail again. Then closed the app and ran sfc. Rebooted and it now works for me. 🤷‍♂️

@Taoufik996 I ran the reset option for Mail and Calendar under the advanced options then set up mail again. Then closed the app and ran sfc. Rebooted and it now works for me. 🤷‍♂️

Resetting and re-installing didn't fix it for me. Also, the Mail app lost the personalization setting for the message spacing, even though its the same as the current installed version which does have that option
