Is there any software available (or a method of doing so) for Windows that can emulate my laptop's keyboard and mouse as a USB input device, allowing me to control a desktop computer using my laptop's input devices? I want to be able to connect my laptop to the desktop via USB and have the desktop recognize the laptop's keyboard and mouse as if they were directly connected. Any recommendations or suggestions for such software?

Mark,

I do not how to do what you ask. But I do know how to achieve your desired results for computers connected by a network rather than by USB.

I use MS MouseWithoutBorders.
Microsoft Garage Mouse without Borders - TenForumsTutorials

With my four computers on the network, I can move the mouse of my main computer across from one display to another and then use both it & the main computer's keyboard on that other computer.
- I can also copy on one computer and paste into another. But MSOffice copying-pasting can be a problem.
- The computers are all equal - I could just as well move the mouse of another computer onto the display of my main one then use that other computer's mouse, keyboard & clipboard on my main one.

I've been using MwoB for years and wouldn't do without it.

Best of luck,
Denis

Hey guys,
Thanks for your suggestions. The thing is I’m connecting my laptop to a device that only takes mouse and keyboard as input devices. I’m unable to download any application on this device.
