I don't have a clue, but, I'm almost willing to bet, if you click Show more options at the bottom, you'll get to where you want to go.

If you uninstall winrar it might be worth removing regedit variables too.

Yeah.
7-zip will open anything. Other than that it's just like WinRAR.

7-zip will open: APFS, AR, ARJ, CAB, CHM, CPIO, CramFS, DMG, EXT, FAT, GPT, HFS, IHEX, ISO, LZH, LZMA, MBR, MSI, NSIS, NTFS, QCOW2, RAR, RPM, SquashFS, UDF, UEFI, VDI, VHD, VHDX, VMDK, XAR, Z, 7z, XZ, BZIP2, GZIP, TAR, ZIP and WIM

7-zip can create: 7z, XZ, BZIP2, GZIP, TAR, ZIP and WIM

I would either use 7-zip OR WinRAR... not both.
If you try to use both, the right click context menu will get pretty confusing. ^^

It should, if you've uninstalled WinRAR first.

I have "disabled" the Show more options on the Win 11 context menus (Option #1). Like so...

So my Win11 context menus look like this...

Go to the Start Menu and open the 7-zip File Manager, then go to Tools > Options...
Add everything to the middle column, then MOVE (un-add), iso and cab from the middle column.. like in this pic...

You add things by clicking the PLUS sign over the middle column.
To un-add things that are already IN the middle column... just highlight the item then click the PLUS sign again.

You DON'T want iso or cab to be associated with 7-zip. You can always temporarily associate them from the right click context menu's Open with...

But for general happiness (yours)... you don't want it to say 7-Zip by iso or cab, in the middle column. :-)

That way when you right click an ISO or a CAB file, they will show Mount (for ISO), or Install (for CAB), like they should.
Like this...

That should cover it. :-)

I know of this problem. WinRAR isn't fully compatible with Windows 11's new context menu, at least not the previous versions.
SOLUTION: fully uninstall WinRAR and download the latest version from rarlab.com
Install with default options, make sure not to click "old context menu" option.
