Win 11 home webcam issue

Windows 11 Home
My webcam works except that it records everything in reverse (left to right. i.e. flipped horizontally)
On line fixes refer to the three dots etc, but that is ONLY in pro version. I can't believe that there is no simple setting to fix this seems ridiculous that the default is reversed anyway. Other than third party software which I don't often trust, does anyone know how to fix this?

Does this happen all the time or just while using certain teleconferencing apps ?

Pharoah, I only use the cam for video recording, so I can't say.

FreeBooter I will try that.
Thanks to you both.

Have you tried OBS studio? You can use the "Transform-Flip Horizontal" from the Edit menu.
This can be downloaded via MS Store.

I'm glad you found a program that works. In the program you were originally using did you check to see if their was a setting you could change to stop the mirroring effect? If you were using the Camera app this is how to flip the video. Redirecting

Winuser, the link you sent for the camera app fix is only for Win11 Pro. In Home version those 3 dots do not exist.
Thanks for the info though.
