hi guys, thanks for letting me join.
i instsalled windows 11 on my pc, (was using windows 7) and use my pc for business accounts.
i have a belkin f5u234 usb hub connecting my phone, 2 external hdd and my printer to my pc. since going to 11 my hub isnt working. in device manager i get "this device cannot start. error code 10
ive tried updating the driver but it says the best driver is installed.
ive un-installed the driver and reconnected the hub and let it update the driver but it still says the same error.

any help appreciated guys.

The problem might not be your Belkin's driver, but if this is connected to a host USB3 port -- then check the PC's USB3 controller driver.
This is a "plain" USB 2.0 hub with no video, audio or serial adapters, so it's plug and play without needing any real drivers.

As a test, try moving it to another USB port and see if the problem continues. Usually with a plain hub, it's something physical and less often a software problem.

Did the hub have a external power adapter (known for bc if using anything but USB sticks/2.5 HDDs)

Hmm... Did you try another outlet? Does windows 11 detect it? Try to uninstall the device and rescan. You could try using Driver Booster (Google the program) as a last resort for those devices that are odd. Just be sure to *Only select that device an nothing else
