How to import .pst file into Outlook365 on W11?

My W10 pc is taking an age to boot up so I decided to invest in a new pc running W11.
I have a MS Office365 subscription and I need to install Outlook365 rather than use the built in Mail App.
My problem is that I cannot find out how to import my Outlook data from my old pc, (which I have exported into a .pst file from Outlook365), into Outlook365 on the new pc. There does not seem to be any File Import/Export feature in Outlook365 on the new pc, or at least if there is, I cant find it. I have researched this on the net and people say you click the 'file' button, which looks like a paper clip, but when I do this, I just get a blank page with a list of links on it, but when I click them the page stays blank and there is a message in the centre of the screen saying 'no attachments to show'.

I would really appreciate some help with this, I have been trying to sort it out all morning...

Hello, thanks for your reply. For some reason which I don't understand, Outlook doesn't look like that on my pc. Here is a screenshot showing the Mail App on the Left and Outlook365 on the Right. Outlook opens in Edge for some reason, which is another thing I dont understand. As you can see, there is a 'Files' link, but if I click it nothing happens, the screen just stays the same. Thanks for any help you can give me with this. Something I have just noticed is that there is a web address in Edge, which is 'outlook.live.com/files/0/' preceded by https etc
Presumably that means that Edge is pulling in some version of Outlook from the net, instead of starting the Outlook I have installed?

OK, I'm starting to get a handle on this now, its just Microsoft up to their old tricks again, arrrrrggghhhh!
So, I fully understand what jvickers said, it all makes sense now. Could someone tell me how I can use the software version on my system?

That outlook you are using is the updated windows mail app not the 365 office app. the icon for the windows mail app will have text of PRE on the bottom of the icon.

see the difference

Sorry Sir George I followed the instructions but Outlook just opened up in Edge again.

Also Sorry bjproc but this is what my start menu looks like, there's no PRE at the bottom of the Mail icon, and the Office 365 icon is what I'm assuming is my downloaded Office365 installation. If I click it, Outlook opens up in Edge.

Are you using the included Mail app that comes with Windows 11?

Also, if Outlook is opening in a browser, that means you don't have Office locally installed. You're just using the online service.

I'm actually using Office 365 with the desktop apps installed on the PC. And you CAN import a .pst file into Outlook. I'm doing it now, and have been forever. I'm also running the latest version of Windows 11 as seen below my avatar.

You have to buy (subscribe) Office 365 to install it locally. If you've paid for a subscription, you should have a download link. Or, if you've registered the suite by signing in, you can find a download link in your Microsoft account to download to your PC.

Thank you everyone who replied. Using the info you have given me, I have been able to download an Office 365 setup file which was in the form of a DVD img. When I clicked it I was told that this kind of file could damage my computer and did I really want to continue, I said Yes as I didnt really feel I had a choice. Then what I guess was a virtual DVD drive appeared on the screen and Office365 installed itself on my pc, and when I clicked Outlook it opened as a stand alone program without involving the browser at all. I have now set up all my email addresses and its all working fine. Thanks again!
