Neither the main vb6 install or the service pack 6 install completes without error
I cannot manually register tabctl32.ocx and neither can vb6 install
vb6 does run but it is not installing itself correctly
suggestion was open a new thread
Also for win11 there is a youtube video explains how to install on 11,
which worked for him and which I followed
And on vbforums.com, people also succesfully install vb6, but some have a problem like this

failing to register tabctl32.ocx, and, why does DIR on syswow64 not show the file, yet file manager does and why is it in a folder also?
It is been giving me lots of trouble trying to install vb6 due to tabctl32.ocx I am trying to see if it is registered. Why is it in a directory, why does command prompt not see it? Tried to regsrv32 it also from it's directory
