Hi folks
What's the difference between these 2 commands -- one entered manually gives an error and the other pasted from the web is successful. !!!!!
?????????
I am running this Arch Linux system as a VM on HYPER-V on W11 rs build.
Keyboard woes I've never had before !!!! and I have used a lot of different ones including cyrllic and the worst on the planet -- that diabolical French AZERTY system. !!
Mind you even on totally modest hardware and on a VM MariaDB really works at greased lighting speed -- forget Ms Access -- even though most of the packages in Ms Office are still without equal anywhere.
E.g (it's a TEST database so no real personnel data here -- complies with Isl / EU Data protection acts),
Even with VM and using a GUI (phpmyadmin) on a modest laptop the speed of the query beats almost anything else and it's easy to export / import tables etc to / from EXCEL spreadsheets if required.
Many don't realize the real value of using these sorts of databases (all FREE) for even modest projects !!!
-- MariaDB also runs on Windows too BTW but I'm happy with the VM.
Cheers
