Got that constantly with the new Media Player."could not complete the rip"
I ran it through a cleaning cycle twice. If you mean something more technical than that, I'm afraid that's above my ken. Thanks for the reply, RJARRRPCGPFrom a CD? Have you checked to see if maybe the optical drive is bad?
But using one of them would be a good diagnostic.Personally, I’d use a 3rd party CD ripper. There are so many out there, many are free.
I realise that It doesn’t solve the error message.
Very true. It could eliminate the prospect of the optical drive being at fault. I actually hadn’t thought of that. But using one of them would be a good diagnostic.
Found it, thanks y'all!Start, All Apps, W, Windows Tools. [Windows Accessories on Win10.]
I still use the old windows media player because I like the play on top feature and I can dock it in the bottom corner. And it rips cds wellI hate to lead new visitors/new W11 users astray, but, many of us here have been guinea pigging MS junk for damn near a decade!
Frankly, I'm to the point of telling them up front 'Don't bother, use what's tried, tested and true'!
