Microsoft Photos App New Update

The "Background Blur" feature is released to punch Photoshop. I like seeing those Photoshop brush settings here (brush size and softness plus add or remove to the selection with the brush). They are seriously determined to overthrow Photoshop.
IMHO, it has done a good job (my image background had a bit of depth of field, though!):

I love this YouTuber's LED strip animation (it also exists in the "Snipping Tool" OCR function).

Minor changes:
1. They exchanged the "Slide Show" and "Share" buttons (IMO, it's better now):

2. The Crop function has less lag, and they fixed "double-click to select the desired AR (Aspect Ratio)"!
3. They also started to :lie: their nose into our location:

I like that: "Photos App" Supports "Motion Photos"...

But I dislike that: "Motion Photos" are not editable in "Photos App"... :woozy:

Two days, three version numbers. Just playing with the version numbers or bug fix...
The "Crop" tool has been slower. ... :woozy:

I started with a "Serious" camera when my kids were growing up, an upgrade from the basic point and shoot compact was a Pentax ME super 35mm Film camera which lasted a while for birthdays etc I then went away from photography for a few years but then went back to it as a part of my interest in Birds and wildlife. I went through a number of digital Bridge cameras from various manufacturers' and finally switched to a sony Alpha A55 which led to an Alpha A77 and then an A77ii which I still use - the good thing with the sony is that the lens fitting is still basically the same as the original Minolta fitment from the Film Days, (Sony purchased the Minolta Range including the lens fitting so you can use the lenses with the current range of bodies. I even have a number of original Minolta lenses My "go-To walk-about lens is a Minolta 70-210 F4 zoom )

For general usage I have a Sony a6000 which uses the new e Lens mount, but I have an adaptor to use the A series lenses. I have a couple of E lenses but use the alpha adaptor most often.

All my bodies are fitted with add on Motor drives for longer battery life and better feel in the hand

I had one of those ME. :-) Used it for vacations etc. before I started getting serious about photography. Then got into digital with the first affordable camera the Canon 10D.

Nope :woozy: ... They brought the fast channel into the slow channel, not the Store, for the first time!

Big jump in the version number, but nothing new was discovered. I thought this version had something new in UI.

MS has opted to release new updates in the Slow ring instead of the Store app or Fast ring (since previous update)! :woozy:
I don't get the updates in my Store app (it works for other app updates).

The store.rg-adguard.net/ website works fine for you, but lately my AV program is pinging it and blocking it due to a URL:Blacklist infection... :cautious:
