So as the title says, is there a way (with eregedit perhaps) to make an emoji shortcut to open an emoji list instead of the most recently used?

I use only emojis, not GIFs or anything else so it's kind of annoying to click the emoji list icon separately to get the list of all emojis. Especially when the "recently used" list of emojis is also available in the separate emoji list as well as the search function.

Strange, cuz the W10 emoji panel opens the way you left it, the W11 one doesn't! 🤷‍♂️

Never used them in W10 but sounds like a nice feature.

The Windows key + . should open the most recently used Emoji's just like in Windows 10. If you click the Right arrow, it will give you the full list of Emoji's

This is the exact behavior I meant. Could it somehow be possible in W11?
Mmmm..., I dunno! 🤷‍♂️
You could maybe go visit the boys in the kitchen at Redmond, and give each and everyone a few light slams upside the head with a blunt object!!! :p
