W11 Version 22H2, OS Build 22621.819

Been using TI for many years, but now, under W11 Version 22H2, I cannot get it to start up. Have run many tests, diagnostics, compatibility checks. Have disabled core isolation. Installed latest version of TI 2021 a few times.

Any help will be appreciated.

I would uninstall TI using Revo Uninstaller, then I'd reinstall TI from scratch and see if that fixes the issue?

Done exactly that about 6 times!
How did you know I have current paid version of Revo (Pro)?

Didn't, I believe even the demo of Revo Uninstaller allows one to remove a program. Sounds like something is corrupt. Can't you boot it from the TI disaster recovery usb stick?

Have you looked to the Acronis forums for help? Might have better luck there.

Anyway, I ran ATI 2018 for a while under Windows 11 but now run Acronis Cyber Protect (subscription). No issues with it under 11.

BTW, I'm running Windows 11 Pro x64 22H2 (Build 22621.900)

Just saw this post on the Acronis Forum:

I upgraded last year to Acronis True Image 2021 on sale, instead of opting for the new pay as you go subscription option. I just upgraded one of my PCs from Windows 10 pro to Windows 11 Pro, and when I tried to enable core integrity, it said the driver for Acronis is not compatible. When I checked the Acronis website, I now see Windows 11 is not supported in True Image 2021. :(

I am preparing to upgrade a second PC to Windows 11 Pro, so I wanted to check on the compatibility of core integrity and restore on the new OS since it has weird new TPM and such. Is it possible to restore Windows 11 Pro from a rescue USB stick with the TPM, or is it possible to enable core integrity somehow and would that effect restore? I think I see why Acronis went to the subscription model at the same time they decided to intentionally keep 2021 incompatible.

Paul

Just saw this post on the Acronis Forum:

I upgraded last year to Acronis True Image 2021 on sale, instead of opting for the new pay as you go subscription option. I just upgraded one of my PCs from Windows 10 pro to Windows 11 Pro, and when I tried to enable core integrity, it said the driver for Acronis is not compatible. When I checked the Acronis website, I now see Windows 11 is not supported in True Image 2021. :(

Just now seeing this. Anyway, if you want to enable Memory Integrity, you'll need to NOT install "Try&Decide" when installing ATI.

Per Acronis...
If Try&Decide is installed, Memory integrity cannot be activated. See how to disable Memory integrity.

As a current user of Acronis Cyber Protect, this works, and should work with 2021. The key is to make the decision when installing ATI.

And don't buy into the hype that 2021 doesn't work under Windows 11. That's just Acronis wanting to push users toward their subscription model.
