Unable to edit host file as administrator

Hi all finally taken the plunge to 11 and I need to edit my host file but upon right clicking it there's no option to run as administrator.

How do I get around this please?

You don't run the host file as admin. You need to open notepad as admin and then open the host file with it and then edit it.
You can replace notpad with any other editor of course!

1. Open Notepad “Run as Administrator"
2. “File“, then, “Open"
3. Navigate to the path where your hosts file located-
4. To show the file, on the bottom, you will see “File Name” box, and next to it, there is a drop down menu,
which you can select, “All files“, select your “hosts” file and then then click “Open” button.
5. Edit file and save
