Solved foot yanked out ethernet to a computer with shares, now it no longer appears in Network file manager and shared folders don't exist

I did plug it back in and the internet is working fine on it.
Does it need rebooting to make the shares work again?

Computer management shows the shares exist on the PC
None exist though for other PC user trying to use the shares

The red circled media device thing is the computer which has the shares and it used to appear next to the other PC above it as a computer

How hard did you yank it? Could the Ethernet cable has suffered damage? A broken wire? Try another cable.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro (and all my Hyper-V VMs).

It is not that. I did think maybe. But I just used a laptop, saw the network computer with shares, clicked on a shared folder, logged in with my credentials and have access.

It is something to do with this PC I have just cloned. Maybe it needs rebooting.
Odd that it sees the laptop on the network though!!
But not the PC with the shares
Shares has been working perfect on it just today before I went thru so much trouble with cloning that drive

yeah, reboot it's back!

Often times what I have learned is windows can be unfathomable. It is a very complex software-hardware machine

I see the Echo Show is not there now. Or the 'Fire TV' But it was there before.;

I don't know what your implying, but what happened with the prior boot that it needs another boot?
