New user of Macrium Reflect(free) here---
I've seemed to have made a small issue for myself----
I was attempting to make a RESCUE USB and ended up changing how my PC boots---
I now have a new screen that defalts to WIN11 in a short period of time or I can choose a recovery path....
How do I change this so my PC will boot automactically with the WIN11 OS

    The case fan and CPU cooler were after purchase upgrades...the i7 cpu runs hot and the OE solution can best be described as marginal when CPU intensive apps are used.
    ALSO added a VRM and SSD passive heatsinks.
i think it's under the menu for creating rescue media. Find the windows boot menu option and see if you can disable it.

I'm at work, so I cannot get you exact screenshots.

Open Reflect and click on the Rescue icon. In the Rescue Media Builder select Windows Boot Menu, then click on Remove boot menu in the Boot menu options. The Build button will change its name to Remove, click on it.

Top tip: you won't see the option to make a rescue USB until you plug one in. Then click on Removable USB Flash Drive to select it before you click Build.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro (and all my Hyper-V VMs).

    My SYSTEM FOUR is a 2-in-1 convertible Lenovo Yoga 11e 20DA, Celeron N2930, 8GB RAM, 256GB ssd. Unsupported device: currently running Win10 Pro, plus Win11 Pro RTM and Insider Beta as native boot vhdx.

It's not seeing an option to build the USB if you haven't got one plugged in that causes confusion.

Be sure to test it before you need it. Just plug it in, Restart, and hit the key for your PC that opens the Boot Order menu. Choose the Macrium-made USB, and let it launch the Recovery window. Then you can close the window, restart, and remove the USB, and you know you have a working Rescue Disk.
