So I upgraded to 11 from 10 by doing the upgrade option without saving any of my files while using the TPM bypass scripts since I'm on Haswell. Everything is great except one issue. My Sound Blaster Audigy FX card comes with its own control panel so I can EQ things to my liking. The problem is adjusting the settings/sliders etc. literally do nothing and I can't EQ anything. I'm basically just stuck without any way to boost my bass to my liking....which isn't going to kill me by any means but I'm looking for some ideas/suggestions if there are any.
I was first using the drivers that Microsoft distributes through the optional updates via Windows Update and I thought maybe the issue was driver related so I installed the official ones from the site (From within the same package I install their sound control panel software) and the issue still persists. Very confusing stuff I guess. I can adapt to not having heavy bass in my music until I can buy a new Sound Card that will actually fully function with 11......but I'd rather not.
If I tinker around enough I might be able to just use the windows built in sound drivers which have bass boost settings in there somewhere but I'll do that as a last resort.
Edit: Figured it out. Had to toggle this enhance audio thing in the windows sound options.....which is a new setting. Please delete this post.
