One is 64bit, the other is not.Why is it listed twice in installed apps?
I would leave them alone, there's probably an app, or apps, somewhere relying on each of them. Can I uninstall one, and which one?
Thanks I had not noticed that. One is 64bit, the other is not.

The two listings are not identical; one is for "x86" and the other is for "x64." The simple explanation "The main difference between these two platforms is the amount of RAM they can access. x86 has a physical limit of 4GB RAM (although Windows reserves the top 1GB, limiting this further to a maximum of 3GB). x64 can access more than 4GB of RAM - up to more than you'll ever need."
