How do I fix, standard hardware security not supported in Microsoft Defender when I went to device security of Defender? I had it before, but when I went to Defender now, it shows the message. I have TPM, etc. There is possibly a bug as stated here: Windows 11 22H2 build 22621 bug shows 'hardware security not supported' - RPRNA
I think it is a bug but not too sure.

Am I faced with the bug and anyone else in the Dev. channel faced with the issue? build 25201

Seems to be working fine here...

Within device security, what has been disabled? Core Isolation/Memory Integrity? If it is this only, then some driver changed that does not support this feature.

based on the link I provided, it states: Some users have reported that their PCs display a ”Standard Hardware Security is not supported” message on the Device Security page of Windows Security Settings, even though the hardware does meet the requirements.
Moreover, this bug appeared earlier. After user feedback, Microsoft has fixed it in Build 22000.100, and it appeared again in Build 22621. Microsoft Windows 11’s standard hardware security requirements for devices to support memory integrity and kernel isolation include:

  • TPM 2.0
  • Secure Boot DEP is enabled
  • UEFI MAT
When the user’s PC does not meet one or more of these requirements, the system displays the Standard Hardware Security Unsupported feature.

Has anyone had a Security Update to Windows Defender Antimalware Platform (1.0.2209.22001) in the last few days? I had that and all the option in the Security screen disappeared. Core isolation etc all gone. My Security app was also crashing. I've had to disable my TPM to get these options back.

Yes it does, the Security app no longer crashes and the other options are back. Standard security has never been supported on my pc

I think it's more a bug with the Antimalware platform update, it's broken Smart app control and causing Security crashes.

On one PC it is, but the problem occurs on another PC that's never used virtualization

Check in Services and look to see if Windows Security Service is running. It's set to manual but should start when windows loads. If it's not running then you will have the problem you described. I've had to manually start this service on occasions. Whether this will work on your system only you can tell. Another bug or is it a feature.

But what should affect our Systems? I create an usb Stick with latest Media Creation Tool and the Issue is still there. WinSecurityhealth.exe crashes in 9 to 10 Times when you open Security. This was an complete clean install with formatted NVME before. So no Software or Tools that messes Things up.

Smart App Control is not working too but this is not my Interest. My Interest is an not fully Working Security Center and that let me think that i am not fully secured in my OS.
