1st BSOD -- 6 month old machine!

Received one today - DPC-WatchdogViolation. Thought needed a driver update - Lenovo site - did a scan - scan said all updated so all ok. I then tried to run a command prompt to do sfc /scannow. I am the sole user and administrator but cannot do the prompt without being the administrator. How do I get around that. Thanks very much.

Machine is 6 months old. All under warranty. Do not know what overclocking is. This is the only bsod I have had. Machine sitting idle when it occured. Thank you.

PowerShell $D=(New-Object -ComObject Wscript.Shell).SpecialFolders(4);Compress-Archive "%WinDir%\MEMORY.DMP" "$D\Memory_dmp"

Post a share link.

3) Reinstall:

Please run using administrative PS:

$D=(New-Object -ComObject Wscript.Shell).SpecialFolders(4);Compress-Archive "$Env:SystemRoot\MEMORY.DMP" "$D\Memory_dmp"

In case there are any run errors Search for C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP > save to the download folder > zip > post a share link

Make sure that it is zipped or compressed before posting a share link.

Please post tuneup plus and other share links into the newest post.

administrative PS... I do not know what that is - Also The cmd prompt just does not like what you want me to paste. I have tried a couple of times. Let me ask you this - according to what i was reading as those files were being looked at - at the end it said windows had been "fixed" or words to that effect.
I am new to 11 - the cmd prompt thing is really annoying - I got it to work on win10 but 11 has a higher level of requiremen it would appear.

I am done for tonight. I'll check back in tomorrow. Do appreciate your help. Thanks.

For tuneup plus make sure that the result after running the script is posted.

The link in post #12 was the bat script instead of the results.

Check the desktop for the compressed or zipped memory dump.

If it is not on the desktop then collect it manually:

Search for C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP > save to the download folder > zip > post a share link
Make sure that it is zipped or compressed before posting a share link.

When I go to the start menu ALL APPS menu does not appear. I just don't know how to get to what I need to get to!!. I am going to hope that what we did yesterday has fixed the machine enough to avoid bsod's. Thanks for your help...help people who are better at this stuff than I am. Thanks again.
