OS
Windows 11
Any ideas what this means and what I can do to fix it, please? This is in Virtualbox 7x, a Windows Home guest and a Linux Mint 23.1 host.

Hi there
In the VM on the Linux Host how did you configure the boot for the Guest windows -- you need it to be UEFI plus sec boot.

Personally if you are on a Linux HOST I'd install KVM/QEMU (installs easily enough on Linux Mint) and use that system as the VM for Windows Hosts -- there's an easy GUI for managing Virtual machines (virt-manager). KVM/QEMU is a Hypervisor like HYPER-V on Windows and is very efficient.

For the GUI

and for other stuff like adding physical discs etc you can edit the config directly (it's an XML file) with any text / wysisyg editor or a browser.
