Hi, I had an incompatible driver win10pcap.sys. After trawling the net and following numerous directions I was unable to delete this driver.

Finally I managed to delete it but I still cannot activate Memory Integrity. When I click Review Incompatible Drivers there is nothing in the list.

How do I resolve this please?

Welcome to the forum. I do not know what method you used to resolve that particular driver issue, but the proper one would have been to uninstall the Win10pcap application using an uninstaller like Revo that removes all the leftover remnants.

Turning on memory integrity problems has been reported by a lot of users. One of many discussions here on this forum follows the tutorial.
Enable or Disable Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Windows 11 Tutorial

Memory integrity almost always involves incompatible drivers. You haven't completed the system specs section of your forum profile so we do not know what hardware is involved in your particular case.

As a side suggestion, a repair install has worked for some, but not all. You might try that. Repair Install Windows 11 with an In-place Upgrade Tutorial
You might also check to see if manufacturer has a new update for the UEFI bios.

UPDATE: Sorry I see the memory integrity check tool has been removed from MS servers.

There are are ton of brand new drivers on Dell site marked critical for that device including one for bios. Support for Inspiron 3793 | Drivers & Downloads | Dell US
Unless you have uninstalled it, you should have an app installed called Dell Command Update. Run it and it will update your drivers.

Dell update is up to date. This is what Revo agent said after wasting another 1/2 hour of my time and failing dismally "Revo Uninstaller Pro does not have access to some important system areas, only Windows does"

Please open an elevated command prompt and then enter the following command:

Code:
pnputil /enum-drivers

Then look for the driver you're trying to remove and then take note of its OEM alias.

Code:
pnputil /delete-driver oem#.inf /uninstall /reboot

You will need to replace # with the appropriate number of course.

The thing about memory integrity is it can also fail to activate due to old unused drivers in the driverstore as well as drivers that updated but did not remove the older version of the same driver. Unsigned drivers can also cause memory integrity to fail. There is a tool called Driverstore Explorer that can be used to manage drivers but I caution anyone using it to be very, very careful. Depending on one's level of expertise in handling drivers, misuse of the software can have consequences. Download DriverStore Explorer - MajorGeeks

It's just a wrapper for the pnputil commands and yes, should definitely be used with caution, although, you should be able to recover the driver package files from the WinSxS store quite easily. Although, this requires understanding how to make sure you're getting the right files.

The pnputil command failed or you still couldn't enable memory integrity? If the former, what was the error message when it failed?

I only asked you to run it a moment ago because those driver packages have been added back - as mentioned in your previous post - so have you ran other things since then? Have you actually tried it again or just assuming it won't work?

Okay, so you didn't run it and therefore don't know if the command I provided you with was going to fail or not.

You mention that you have tried it previously, however, we don't know what you exactly ran last time or if the syntax was even correct. It would be appreciated if you could at least run it as specified and then provide a screenshot of the error message if fails.
