(Title) Is this normal? I've forgotten the times-of-delivery for patches on patch Tuesday.

I think it is 6PM in the UK, I wonder if it is different outside the US. and if we are getting one so close to the Christmas break

Microsoft schedules the release of security updates on "Patch Tuesday," the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 AM PST.
Depending on time zone(s) in which the organization operates, IT pros should plan their deployment schedules accordingly. Please note that there are some products that do not follow the Patch Tuesday schedule.

Sorry, I might not have been clear. I just meant that this Tuesday (today) is really “Patch Tuesday.” Next Tuesday won’t be.

Yeah, Second Tuesday of the month and now only yearly Version Upgrades. Got 3 Win11 and 3 Win10 done, no issues yet.

I cannot see any rush to install things straight away. I once did that and had twice found it mucked my pc up and later found that the updates had ben pulled. A good job Macrium was there !!

Yeah i 100% also don't wake up like ITS PATCH TUESDAY OMG, Must log in. Must get new patch. Yeah i don't wait on the mail man for my mail i certainly aint waiting excitedly for a daft windows patch lol. Bigger things to life than ms's update tuesday. Absolutely not worth being worried or concerned over. lol.

I currently have eight W10 and W11 machines to update. If I were to do it piece-meal I'd still be updating by the time the next PT came around. I have a routine now of updating/cleaning up/backing up them all in parallel to get it out of the way. And if I'm going to do that it might as well be on PT.

I've never had an update muck up my PC, not a 'B Release' PT one anyway. And if it ever did, well all my machines have their backups. The 'C/D Release' preview updates are another matter. But as the only update with new security fixes is the B Release I don't as a rule bother installing those.
